Kim Wallace Brings Expertise to FBIQ

Kim Wallace Joins FBIQ

Federal Budget IQ is pleased to announce that Kim Wallace is joining the group as a Consultant. A contributor to FBIQ since January 2020, Mr. Wallace is a fiscal and financial policy expert, bringing years of experience of managing policy research teams at private capital market and government entities.

From 2009-2011, after unanimous Senate confirmation, Mr. Wallace served as the Treasury Department’s Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs during the Obama Administration where he managed a team of 17. At Treasury, Mr. Wallace was a principal on the Dodd-Frank implementation team and a member of both the housing reform task force and debt limit working group.

From 1994-2008, Mr. Wallace traveled extensively in Asia, Europe and North America briefing institutional investor clients on risks and opportunities coming from a range of policies including macroeconomics (monetary, fiscal and trade policies), deregulation (financials and telecoms) and U.S. elections. Mr. Wallace was recognized by Institutional Investor Magazine as a member of its All-American all-star research team nine times.
